KC Irish Fest

Today we went to our first KC Irish Fest where we saw a great band (who knew??).   Thanks to State Street we had great seats (and free drinks !).  I think I caught Mary Ryan doing the jig in her carriage...she's such a rock star!

Today is my actual due date (crazy huh?) and we brought Mary Ryan to the doctor for a weight check.  She is 7lbs 2 ounces!! She's gained close to 2 pounds since we left the hospital with her. We are very excited.  Nana and Papa made the trip with us...we were all cheering in the office when she was weighed...It was definitely a Griswold's moment.

We want to give a shout out to Auntie Pat... Happy Birthday!!  We miss and love you lots.

Nana has been spoiling us and made us a great meal last night.  She and I shared a glass of wine (ok maybe a couple) and many laughs together!!

Nana and Papa O'Sullivan are here visiting.  Mary Ryan has been an angel since they've been here.  She slept 6.5 hours last night..I might not let them leave!

Mary Ryan has turned a corner..hopefully.   I think she has finally figured out her days/nights.  She slept for 4.5 straight hours last night...very exciting!

Lisa and Chris Kirk stopped over yesterday to meet Mary Ryan.  Lisa and Chris are also from Boston and Lisa is due with a baby boy in September.

Mary Ryan has proven throughout my pregnancy and now out in the real world, that she is a feisty little one.  Like her mom, she enjoys the nightlife. Last call for her is around 2am.  She rests up for her big nights by snoozing in her swing..and on dad's chest.

Today Mama and Pop O'Neill celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary!!

My parents were able to spend some time with us for the first couple of weeks.  They were both a huge help and Mary Ryan and I miss them very much!

Mary Ryan and I came home today.  It was so nice to be home after such a long time away.    Ferdinand and Bella were very excited to meet Mary Ryan but quickly got back to what they do best..sleeping.

Welcome to the world Mary Ryan!

Mary Ryan was born on August 4, 2008 at 4:27am.  She arrived close to 4 weeks early.  She weighed 5lbs. 9 ounces.  She was born a healthy strong little girl, despite being so early.
