Fiona's 2 year stats
27 lbs and 34.5 inches tall.
MR came to the appointment and held fiona's hand while she got her shots. she got a tissue and wiped her tears. now THAT is a tear jerker for a mom.

swim lesson!
MaryRyan finally had a private swim lesson. she is such a little fish already and wants so badly to swim like the 'big kids' so i've been counting down the days for this to happen. she did so great! she kicked from one side of the pool to the other using a kickboard and learned the doggie paddle. she was so proud of herself!
in fiona news..she has learned to say 'ear' and is proud of her self as well. she'll tell anyone she sees that they have an ear!

fiona
fiona came down with hand, foot and mouth disease last week. and on top of it she had an ear infection. what a bad week! but she is back to happy self now.

hello!
we've been MIA, i know. i'm sorry! I use this i lue of a baby book so i'm more disappointed then you. things that have been going on:
MR is really into making plays up (like i'm the mean queen and she is the beautiful purple princess), playing hide-and-seek, counting/sorting. she really really wants to write her own name. so far she is able to write the letter 'M' and 'A'. she loves to test us. i could go on with the stories but i'm not sure i have enough room. not all of them are cute either :). Teddy is still number 1, of course.
fiona is 11 months! crazy. she just started to sign which is pretty cool. she can stand on her own for a couple of seconds. she is a lot more adventerous then MR. she wants to go everywhere and is quick. so she has taken several tumbles. she's pretty dramatic when she falls but always rebounds quickly. loves loves to eat, but is picky. she is sick almost every week. definitely from daycare. i'm hoping come 1 year, she'll have a superhero immune system.
we got some family photos done on new years eve. here is the link to the album. ive never been a part of a photo shoot so it was kind of strange. but i think the pics of the girls came out great.

santa visit
they both were totally ok with santa. MR was in 'omg-i-can't-believe-i'm-meeting-santa' mode. Fiona had no idea what was going on. but if MR is ok with it, fiona is ok with it.

9 month check up for fiona
stats: 17lbs, 27.5 inches. she got a great check up. all good for ms. fiona. she is crawling all over the place. mama's, dada's and just beginning to hear some rasp-berries. no teeth yet! she is still sleeping great and loves to snuggle. very laid back lady. laughs soooo much. it's the greatest.

halloween 2011.
MaryRyan loves loves loves halloween. we were a little unsure at first because she didn't want to put on her costume for school. we even made a ladybug costume for teddy! but she didn't go for it. As soon as I picked her up from school all she talked about was how excited she was to go home and get in her costume. she and brian went out trick-or-treating and they hit up a ton of houses. she LOVED it!!!!! fiona is wearing MR's old pumpkin costume. she got tired out from all the excitement and was fast asleep by 6pm.
