happy easter!

mary ryan and tim's play{date}

we visited the kirk's this weekend where mary ryan's bf tim lives. they are so cute together! mary ryan laughed and giggled the entire time. i can't wait to get them together again!!

we're back..and with a tooth!

Things have been really busy for Brian and I in KC. Lots of traveling for Brian and a lot going on with me for work. And to top it off, i got attacked by the flu this week. It was pretty miserable but I'm happy to say it's gone! Needless to say, we are counting down the days until Florida.
Of course the day that I was laid up in bed, Mary Ryan sprouted her first tooth. It definitely lifted my spirits. And i think that might of explained why she was carrying on all day on Sunday (made for a long day!).
Sorry - no picture of the tooth yet. Mary Ryan is being a little shy about it.

big girl tub

Mary Ryan's babysitter Erica bought her a new present - a big girl tub! I never even knew they made these things but it is great. She would stay in it all night if I let her. She loves it.

visit from mama and pop!

mama and pop spent the weekend out in KC. we had lots of fun. the weather was gorgeous all weekend so we took lots of walks which mary ryan loved. on friday, we had to take mary ryan to the doctors to get a booster shot. she weighed in at 16.1 lbs! we also celebrated pop's, brian and my birthday on saturday night which was a ton of fun! my mom spoiled us and got up every morning with mary ryan so brian and i were able to sleep. that was definitely my favorite part of the weekend :) Pop also helped and gave her cereal and fruit every morning. it was great to have all the help.
mary ryan is very lucky to have such great grandparents!
