visit from Tim

Tim and Lisa Kirk stopped by this morning for a visit. The Kirk's are moving back to Boston at the end of the summer. We're going to miss them!

Fear? What fear?

We took MaryRyan to the pool and she had a blast. The pool has a slide just for tots MR's size and once MR got the hang of it she could stop going down it. Her first few times down, she flew down and immersed herself right in the water. I thought we would have a traumatized toddler on our hands but she thought it was hilarious and wanted to do it again. Growing up a pool rat myself, I am thrilled she is fearless of the water!

MR and I head to DC next week. I have to be there for work and MR gets to spend a couple of nights by herself with Aunt Aimee and Uncle Mark. Then we'll head to Bethesda to spend the rest of the week with Mama and Pop. Can't wait!!
